Application to 教师教育 Program Deadline
Students must apply to be accepted into the 教师教育 program through Foliotek. Students should apply for admission during EDU 21501/EDU 51500 教师教育 seminar. The student will not be allowed to enroll in most upper level or methods coursework until he/she has been formally admitted at Benchmark/Stage 1 to the teacher education program.
Criteria for full admittance into the 教师教育 program includes:
本科生
- Completion of 9 credit hours of education courses with a grade of “C” or better.
- Completed Application Form.
- Passing scores on all sections of the MoGEA or a qualifying ACT composite score of 20 and a Reading score of 21 and a Math score of 19. (Students do not have to have both MoGEA and ACT.)
- 保持3分.0 GPA in content courses and a 3.0 in education courses with a grade of "C" or better.
- Receive a “C” or better in an oral communication course.
- Receive a “C” or better in ENGL 15000 and ENG 17000.
- Program Plan from advisor.
MAT研究生
- Completion of 9 credit hours of education courses with a grade of “C” or better.
- Completed Application Form.
- 保持3分.0 GPA in content courses and a 3.0 in education courses with a grade of "C" or better.
- Program Plan from advisor.
Application into 学生教学 Deadline
Acceptance into Benchmark/Stage Two is required for admittance into student teaching. All applications for admission student teaching must be completed and submitted in Foliotek. Requirements for admission to student teaching are found under 入学要求.
The following are the deadlines for admission to Stage Two/学生教学.
学生教学 applications must be completed and submitted by
August 1 - October 15 for 春天 学期
February 1 - April 15 for 秋天 学期
